Is it possible to increase sexual performance with therapeutic reflexology? In today’s post, we’ll consider this question.
The first question that arises from this question, is what sexual performance is referring to? Sexual performance can be seen as the ability to have fulfilling sexual intercourse, a very relevant matter to couples. The lack of sexual performance may lead to unhappy relationships, unhappy marriages, unhappy couples, and ultimately, unhappy individuals.
The lack of sexual performance in males may refer to matters like impotence, the inability to maintain an erection, the inability to reach orgasm, and low libido, or sexual desire. The lack of sexual performance in females may refer to matters like low libido, painful sexual intercourse, inability to reach orgasm, vaginal dryness, and conditions like vaginismus where the vagina goes into spasm when something enters it. It is evident that when an individual cannot perform sexually, it may affect the couple directly, but indirectly, it also causes unnecessary emotional and psychological stress as the individual may feel like a failure due to not being able to sexually satisfy a partner.
Sexual performance may be affected by lifestyle factors like the amount of sleep, diet, exercise, health conditions, medication, emotional state, and stress levels. It is necessary to lead a healthy life to ensure the necessary stamina is available to perform sexually.
When a reduction in sexual performance in any form is experienced, it may be a good idea to consult with a diagnostic practitioner to obtain a diagnosis and understanding of where the problem is coming from, especially if chronic medication or health conditions may be the cause of the lack of sexual performance. Sometimes it may also be beneficial to obtain counselling to deal with any psychological or emotional matters that may affect sexual performance.
Therapeutic Reflexology offers a valuable healthcare therapy that may assist in dealing with imbalances in the body that may potentially help to increase sexual performance.
Therapeutic Reflexology is a formally regulated healthcare profession in South Africa, regulated by the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA) that offers a non-invasive therapy that assists the body to reach homeostasis, or balance while increasing circulation in the body. The balancing of circulation and hormonal levels offers the potential to increase sexual performance and sexual desire when needed.
Even when being treated by a diagnostic practitioner or a counsellor, it may be beneficial to include Therapeutic Reflexology as a therapy in your treatment regime to assist your body in restoring balance and increasing sexual performance.
Have you considered Therapeutic Reflexology yet? If not, maybe it is time to give it a try to see how your body reacts to the treatment, and possibly it may help increase your sexual performance.
