Turning into Jelly

“Christo, when you do Therapeutic Reflexology on my feet, I turn to jelly.  I told my husband that after you touched my feet, I walk out of your office feeling like a jellyfish; I’m so relaxed,” said one of my patients to me the other day.  Read more in today’s post about the jellyfish benefit Therapeutic Reflexology treatments have to offer.

It has always been such a compliment when a patient provides feedback like this because ultimately that is why I’m in the profession of Therapeutic Reflexology; to help people, and to turn them into jelly as they experience the ultimate form of relaxation amidst a very stressful world.

Therapeutic Reflexology is known for providing excellent stress relief.  As a formally regulated healthcare profession, it comes with the added benefit that your medical aid will reimburse you for relaxing and experiencing the ultimate form of relaxation.  Therapeutic Reflexology offers numerous health benefits from stress reduction to relaxation enhancement, from increased circulation to homeostasis (balance), from pain relief to increased overall wellbeing.  Therapeutic Reflexology is ideal for preventative healthcare purposes.

As Therapeutic Reflexology is working on the nerve endings on the feet (and sometimes other body parts like the hands, face, and ears), it is a non-invasive therapy that is extremely relaxing.

Just make sure that you are consulting with a properly qualified and registered Therapeutic Reflexologist which means the therapist must be registered as such with the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA), no other registration provides a Therapeutic Reflexologist with the legal right to practice in South Africa.  AHPCSA registration is more than just registration, it is an obligation, just like your medical doctor must be registered, and registration is only possible if the minimum qualification from a recognised training institution, with the minimum number of community service practical hours have been completed.  AHPCSA registration of the Therapeutic Reflexologist is ultimately for the protection of the public to ensure that you are getting the best possible treatment because you deserve only the best.

Make your next Therapeutic Reflexology appointment to ensure that you are also experiencing the benefit of turning into jelly!
